- Tent
- Tarp (to put underneath your tent, helps keep your tent
dry!)
- Mallet to drive in tent stakes
- Sleeping bags, pillows
- Sleeping pad or inflatable mattress
- Extra blankets
- Working flashlight(s)
- Camp chair for around the fire
- Toiletries (there will be running water)
- Musical instruments (can you kazoo? Or guitar? Or sing?)
- A few pieces of wood for the campfire (only if you have some
in your backyard)
- Scout Class A uniform (must be worn for Saturday crossover
ceremony)
- Changes of clothes
- Warm hat/gloves/sweatshirt/jacket
- Warm socks
- Sneakers (for night hike on the pavement)
- Mess kits are optional (paper goods will be provided for
meals)
- Don’t forget to bring your salad, fruit or dessert (whatever
your Den has been assigned).
- Sunscreen
- Water
- Bug spray
** If there are families in need of camping supplies please contact your Den Leader and we can help to share our resources. We’ll be happy to assist or will partner you with one of our more experienced camping families. If you would rather, tents can be rented from EMS. |
