What is Citizenship?Contributing service and showing responsibility to local, state, and national communities. Citizenship is an obligation we all share as Cub Scouts and leaders. One of the key components of being a good citizen is helping others. Some key points of citizenship include the following:
In Cub Scout Pack 97 we are doing Good Turns in a couple of different ways. During the month of November we participate in Scouting for Food. All of the non-perishable items we collect in Scouting for Food are given to the Project Just Because Hopkinton Food Pantry. The PJB Food Pantry serves only Hopkinton residents and contributions from Scouting for Food help the food pantry to continue to serve people in our town. This year, Cub Scout Pack 97 is also supporting a local family through Project Just Because by donating new items for the holidays.
